Shipping Lead full time position now open!
Temp to perm $17.00 hourly starting rate:
Carteret, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring they match purchase orders and quality standards
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation in compliance with shipping regulations
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely and efficient handling of products
- Conduct inventory management tasks, such as stock rotation and cycle counting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving areas of the warehouse
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a shipping role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory tracking and documentation
- Familiarity with shipping procedures, packaging methods, and carrier requirements
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and shipping software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours: This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with working hours scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We prioritize work-life balance and strive to provide a supportive environment for our employees.
